This song, co-written with my son Brett McCluskey, was inspired by the Drum Circle of Asheville and a scene that Jules Corriere wrote for the play. I’ve given you a bit of the scene as the words are such beautiful prosody, and it may help you understand how the song fits into the play.

I made a home here in Asheville
