This song was inspired by a true love story about a woman who died exactly One month, One day, and One hour after her husband had passed. In the show, the song has a broader meaning which includes all of us, WE ARE ONE. Most of the music was composed by my talented son, Brett McCluskey.

One month, one day, one short hour
She stayed on this earth without him
One month, one day, one short hour
‘Til her sparkling eyes had gone dim

One month, one day, one short hour
Patiently he waited for her
One month, one day, one short hour
Death at last did show its power

One love, one heart, one short lifetime
They had shared its joy and sorrow
One love, one heart, one short lifetime
Suddenly there’s no tomorrow

There’s one thing I’ll never do
I’ll never leave you alone
Not in this world
Please let me go with you through shadow and light
Go with you that we may find a home

One birth, one death on this journey
One arrival, one departure
One birth one death on this journey
One start, one end, one adventure

One by one, by one we’re set free
All our time has been expended
Overture and then Finale
Tragically the music’s ended

Yet, In this knowledge we’re one
Destined to share the same outcome
Leaving this world
Please let me go with you through shadow and light
Go with you that we may find a home

One month, one day, one hour, one love
One heart, one life, one world, one place
One mind, one thought, one pulse, one breath
One me
One you
One we
We are one
We are one
We are one
